Pioneer Village
The Castle Valley Pageant’s Pioneer Village offered visitors the chance to get a look, feel and taste of pioneer life as volunteers dedicated their time and talents to show how early pioneers lived. From dutch oven cooking, to the work of a black smith to quilting, rope making, bread making and horse shoeing, visitors were treated to the many and varied abilities of early pioneers. Volunteers donated their evenings to honor the traditions of the pioneers and remind visitors of the ingenuity , grit and resolve of the early settlers of Castle Valley.
