RSVP Awarded Relay Trophy

The members of the Retired and Senior Volunteers Program were awarded the Relay for Life trophy for their efforts in raising donations for the American Cancer Society fundraiser on June 30-31.

The RSVP raised a total of $3,973.16 for the Relay for Life, donating 253.5 hours to the effort and walked a total of 918 laps for the event. A total of 39 seniors took part in Relay for Life and they raised approximately $1,000 more than the next closest team in a friendly little competition of who could be the top fund raiser. The seniors showed that the younger teams couldn’t hold a candle to them.
