Lindsey Jake

 

Jake and Lindsey Hinkins

Jake Hinkins graduated May 5, 2007 from the University of Nebraska College of Law with his Juris Doctorate Degree. While at the University of Nebraska Jake was a member of the Moot Court Board and was nominated to the Order of Barristers. Jake received the 2007 Outstanding Civil Clinic Student of the Year. He also served as President of the J. Rueben Clark Law Society.
Lindsey graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, Child Development and Early Childhood Education. Lindsey graduated in December 2006 with High Distinction and a 3.97 grade point average.
Jake and Lindsey are currently living in Daybreak -  South Jordan, where Jake will be an associate in the Gooch Firm. They both anxiously await the arrival of their new son, due in October.
Jake is the son of Todd and Nadene Hinkins of Orangeville. His grandparents are Jethro Majors and LaRae Majors of Huntington and Delile and Elda Hinkins of Orangeville. Lindsey is the daughter of Brad and Lisa Greenhalgh of Santaquin.

Wacey Allred & Brock Winn

Winn and Allred earn spot on Utah State rodeo team

Brock Winn from Ferron and Wacey Allred from Cleveland have both earned a position on the Utah State high school rodeo team and will be traveling with fellow teammates to Springfield, Ill., from July 22-28 to compete at the 59th annual National High School Finals Rodeo. Brock will be in the Saddle Bronc Competition and Wacey will compete in Bull Riding.
Featuring more than 1,500 contestants from 40 states, five Canadian Provinces, and Australia, the National High School Finals is the world’s largest rodeo. In addition to competing for more than $200,000 in prizes, NHSFR contestants will also be vying for more than $325,000 in college scholarships and the chance to be named the National High School Rodeo National Champion. To earn this title contestants must finish in the top 20 after two go-arounds of intense competition before advancing to the July 28 final championship performance.
Both boys recently graduated from Emery High and were members of the Emery Rodeo Team while attending there. Brock is the son of Kash and Valerie Winn. He also state qualified in the Team Roping competition with his roping partner Colton Grange.  Wacey is the son of Guy And Tina Allred . He also state qualified in the Saddle Bronc riding and qualified for Silver state in this event and was awarded a $600 scholarship from the Utah State Rodeo Association. Both boys would like to thank their families and all of the community who has helped and supported them. They wish to also thank all of the Rodeo Team Sponsors who has supported Emerys Rodeo.
