Secrets of the Desert

The Emery County Historical Society invites everyone to join them for Secrets of the Desert, presented by Wade Allinson on Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Museum of the San Rafael. Special music will be presented by Tanner Crawford. The historical society invites everyone to join the society. Dues are only $5.

Buckhorn Archery Club Winter League

The Buckhorn Archer’s winter leagues is under way. If you have a bow and some arrows, come and join the fun. It will get you out of the house and off the couch for some fun once a week. You will also get in shooting shape for next year archery bow hunt. It is something your entire family can do together. Plus it is just plain fun!
Although the winter league started Jan. 9, you can join any time, all season long.
Registration is still $20 a single, or $30 for a family. You must purchase insurance and the cost is $7 per year. If you are helping a young shooter you also have to purchase the insurance even if you are not shooting a bow. No exception, everyone who is participating must have insurance. If you are a person 18 or younger and are still in school the nightly fee is free for you, but you still have to pay the registration fee and for insurance. If you have a child and you would like them to get involved come and talk with us. Emery County Gun Club Schedule

The Emery County Gun Club shoot schedule is:
Jan. 25, 7 p.m., Draw for Team League. Shoot 25 rounds from the 16 yard line and 25 rounds from the 22 yard line. $14 per shoot, $8 to club, $6 to purse. Participants name will be put on a playing card and then the cards will be shuffled and squads will be drawn at random. Must be present at 7 p.m. for drawing of teams. Regular schedule is: Jan. 25, Draw League at 7 p.m.; Feb. 2, Games at Dark; Feb. 8 Draw League at 7 p.m.’ Feb. 16 Games at Dark; Feb. 22 Draw League at 7 p.m. March 1 Games at Dark; March 7, Draw League at 7 p.m.; March 15 Games at Dark; March 21, Draw League at 7 p.m.; March 29 Games at Dark. Bible Study
